Job Overview: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding Manager to join our team and take the lead in promoting a culture of safety and protection for Children in Care, Children in Need, and Care Leavers.
In this vital role, you will oversee safeguarding operations and ensure all referrals and concerns are handled effectively, in line with legislation, policy, and best practice. Full UK Driving Licence is essential. Lead and embed safeguarding policies, protocols, and procedures across the organisationAct as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring a safe and stable environment for young peoplePromote best practice and a safety-first culture across all children’s contractsBuild and maintain strong relationships with local safeguarding teams and external stakeholdersKeep policies and procedures up to date with current legislation and guidanceDeliver safeguarding training and provide expert advice to staffMonitor data and reporting to ensure contractual compliance and continuous improvementWork closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with data protection, including GDPR
