Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We’re working with a fantastic Trust to support their welcoming primary school, seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their specialist resource base. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a well-resourced and supportive setting.
The Role:
- Lead a small class of pupils with EHCPs, offering tailored support and structured learning.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of complex needs.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure the best outcomes.
- Maintain consistent communication with parents and carers.
- Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential.
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a specialist or resource base setting.
- A postgraduate SEN qualification or similar is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching and behaviour strategies.
- Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs.
