About the Role:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the full lifecycle of complex engineering projects — from concept and requirements development through to integration, verification, and validation. Working across a range of sectors including aerospace, defence, transportation, and energy, you will deliver robust, high-integrity system solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage system requirements across the project lifecycle.
- Develop system architectures and specifications.
- Perform system modelling, analysis, and simulation to validate designs.
- Lead integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Support design reviews, risk assessments, and safety analyses.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet operational needs.
About You:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles (e.g., V-Model, MBSE, Requirements Management).
- Experience working in complex, regulated industries (defence, aerospace, transportation, energy, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent (desirable).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Eligible for UK security clearance (or already holding clearance is an advantage).
