Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to students
- Create and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements
- Attend staff meetings and professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching English in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best
- Creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and delivery
- Strong organizational and time management skills
