Senior Account Manager/Account Director – Reputation Advisory/Corporate Communications

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

Whilst the bread and butter is corporate communications, they pride themselves on providing the whole toolbox across reputation advisory: government communications and lobbying, crisis and issues, media handling, individual counsel and even financial calendar and capital markets day support.
Clients span an interesting and varied mix sector wise. From working with banks to cement their leadership in sustainable finance, advising high street retail stores on strategic comms and financial calendar requirements, to law firms and high profile individuals.
The agency was founded by talented professionals who have cut their teeth at some of the large agencies and wanted to offer what they see as the antidote to large agency life: less of a churn and burn culture; and the ability to offer more hands on counsel to clients.

The Role
We’re looking for someone ideally at SAM/AD level, but will also consider strong AM’s. Whilst the agency works across the full programme of reputation advisory, corporate communications is the key skill required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic recommendations and suggest creative ways to best support clients’ reputations and commercial objectives, driving outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively identify and build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted point of contact on client teams, demonstrating excellent account management skills and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Draft content for a variety of uses, including briefing documents, statements, press releases, media pitches, presentations, social media content and news summaries, and make recommendations to clients on the best communications strategy to deploy these.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis using monitoring and research tools and distil these findings into informed recommendations, for example media analysis reports or to support new business proposals.
- Maintain knowledge of current affairs and the political and business landscapes, considering their relevance to clients’ objectives, both in terms of opportunities to leverage and managing exposure to risks.
