Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reconciliation, cash management, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, management accounting and control activities.
- Align finances with the company’s subsidiary by coordinating group accounts, managing intracompany payments, invoicing, and transfer pricing.
- Produce insightful month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports for senior leaders and Board members.
- Collaborate with external accountants to ensure the timely and accurate production of year-end statutory accounts and R&D tax credit claims.
- Partner with internal teams on project-specific financial operations such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reconciliation, and cash management. Work closely with senior management on business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
- Implement, integrate and maintain finance systems while fostering a culture of continuous automation and process improvement.
- Manage and develop the Finance Administrative Associate.
- Identify financial risks, ensure compliance with applicable jurisdictions, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support additional tasks as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience at a senior level within a finance function
- Accountancy qualification essential (ACCA or CIMA (fully qualified))
- Good background understanding of a wide range of financial practices, theory, and processes
- High proficiency with financial modelling for a range of use cases
- Excellent numerical and data analysis skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
