Job Description
Central Employment are working with an established B2B & B2C integrated agency based in the North East, as they look to expand and recruit a client facing PR Account Manager.
Up to £36,000 DOE + benefits
Newcastle based, hybrid x 2 days from home
Reporting into the Account Director, you’ll be working in a highly supportive team, handling campaigns for some of the North East's leading brands, you can expect to work on a range of activities that span media relations, content creation, social media, influencer outreach, events, brand development and marketing communications.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring the effective day-to-day progress of client work in accordance with the campaign plan, objectives and budgets
- Excellent functional knowledge of integrated studio work and processes: ideally you will also have experience of working on large-scale integrated/PR campaigns
- An ability to communicate with clients and team (written and verbal) to a high professional standard
- Great attention to detail in the scoping, pricing and sign-off procedures
- Assisting on new work pitches and proposal writing if required
- Ensuring regular client contact
- Be self-starting and able to make appropriate day-to-day decisions on your client work
Experience required:
- Experience of planning and delivering integrated marketing & PR campaigns that align with client goals
- A background from within an integrated marketing agency, 2-3 yrs
- A good understanding of PR/Communications
- A creative writer
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence across all levels
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Able to think ahead to see any issues arising for clients or self, so that these can be avoided/handled effectively
- Confidence in personal decision-making
- Creative thinker and solution-finder
- Confident contributor to internal and external meetings
