Project Lead (Home office Pilot)

Location: West Midlands Based – Hybrid Working (flexible)

Duration: 6-month contract

Start date: ASAP

Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Venn Group are supporting a local authority in recruiting an interim Project Lead to deliver a high-profile, Home Office-funded pilot. This innovative role plays a central part in shaping multi-agency approaches to early intervention and violence prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a Below Threshold Pilot
• Set up and chair a multi-agency pilot panel with full governance and oversight
• Develop referral pathways and assurance processes to support at-risk individuals
• Coordinate engagement with local and national partners (Home Office included)
• Monitor impact, manage data, and contribute to national evaluation/reporting
• Act as the primary lead for all pilot activity and stakeholder communication
• Bring relevant partners together to establish current approaches to addressing risk of violence

Key Requirements:

• In-depth experience in prevent, safeguarding, and serious violence reduction
• Strong background in multi-agency working and high-risk case management
• Skilled in project leadership, system setup, and governance design
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing and briefings
