Interior Designer

JOB TITLE – INTERIOR DESIGNER

Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent

Salary: 20,000 – 40,000 DOE.

Job Summary:

• This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the interior design team for a well-established, reputable local business, where you would be responsible formanaging projects from concept to completion.

Main Duties:

• Develop initial concepts and layouts.
• Material and colour scheme selection.
• Research current and future trends.
• Produce accurate working drawings of layouts/furniture for prototypes.
• Work closely with other departments and suppliers to ensure designs are on budget and suitable to be produced on the line.
• Attend trade shows and suppliers to gain inspiration and source new products and materials.
• Create idea boards to communicate design concepts.

Person Specification:

• Good 3D drawing and IT skills
• Ability to work as a team and individually.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Ideally experience with SketchUp and AutoCAD
• Experience or qualifications in spatial/interior design
