This full-time position, starting from February 2024, is a unique chance to be a key player in our client school’s dedicated SEND team, contributing to their commitment to inclusivity and support for students with varying abilities.Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to teachers and students in the classroom.
- Lead small group interventions and deliver pre-planned lessons when required.
- Work collaboratively with the SEND team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare or relevant field is desirable.
- Previous experience working with children and young people, either in a primary or secondary school setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the varying needs of students.
