Insight Global are looking to hire a Project Manager to assist with the outsourcing of inhouse functions for the Asset Management Operations Division for one of our leading banking clients. The functions which are going to be outsourced include, but not limited to; KYC, AML, client onboarding and client servicing. This role will be tasked with coordinating the internal and external groups/vendors to identify and implement the changes in the operating model of the organisation and how the different groups will be affected, this role will have visibility of all the current in-house functions and how they will transition after the operations have been outsourced to the external vendors.

This role will be required to manage ongoing client servicing responsibilities. In addition, the candidate will be involved in driving the execution of key strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the oversight framework and improving the service offering.

The role entails stakeholder coordination and requires strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and pro-activity to deliver exceptional client service whilst adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements. Having oversight of the end-to-end onboarding process, this role will have the opportunity to identify inefficiencies and drive enhancements to improve the client experience and ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met. This role is fully onsite, 5x per week based in central London. This position is a 6-month contract with the option to convert to a full-time-employee upon strong proficiency in the role.

The role entails working as a PM within the European Shareholder Services team. The team performs the following key functions;

  • Ongoing review and maintenance of internal policies and procedures with a view to increasing automation, scalability, and outsourcing of tasks to external vendors with appropriate controls and cost efficiencies.
  • Co-ordination of new fund and share class launches and set-up on internal and external systems and platforms, working closely with distribution services, product development and the funds group teams.
  • Provision of management/board reporting, and information for ad-hoc management requests.

The candidate will be required to work with senior members of the division and cover both day to day and project related tasks relevant to the activities mentioned in the summary above.

Must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working as a PM/ BA
  • Experience overseeing an outsourcing project involved with the outsourcing of AML/ KYC or client onboarding and/or any other relevant experience.
  • Experience working as a PM/ BA within financial services or consultancy.

Plusses:

  • Experience working on the outsourcing of a mutual fund project.
  • Knowledge of offshore mutual fund transfer agent operations, processing, and compliance standards focused on the distribution side.
