As we open our two new studios in Westfield, White City and Westfield, Stratford, we’re looking for a dedicated Studio Assistant to help keep the space running smoothly and support our tailoring team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role:

As a Studio Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, ensuring that everything in the studio is organised, efficient, and running to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the in-house tailoring team and be the friendly, helpful face for customers dropping off or collecting their items.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive in-studio experience
  • Helping with intake and collection of garments, ensuring clear labelling and documentation.
  • Organising and maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-stocked studio space
  • Liaising with the SOJO operations team to keep workflow smooth and efficient
  • Supporting tailors with basic prep tasks (e.g. unpacking garments, organising orders)
  • Ensuring garments are correctly packaged and ready for collection
  • Flagging any issues, delays or garment concerns to the relevant team members

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a customer-facing or studio environment (Tailoring studio or Retail experience preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to multitask
  • Clear communication skills – both in-person and via email or systems
  • Understanding of tailoring/ Garment Construction
  • Thrives in an exceptionally fast-paced and multi-faceted role
