You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing personalised learning plans, delivering interventions, and liaising with external professionals including Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists. You will lead a team of three TAs and work closely with the school SENCo and parents to ensure EHCP targets are met.Key Duties:
- Deliver targeted literacy/numeracy support to pupils with ASD, ADHD and speech & language needs
- Train and mentor other TAs
- Support classroom teachers with differentiated planning
- Monitor and track pupil progress
- Organise and attend multi-agency meetings
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SEND support
- Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of EHCPs and SEND Code of Practice
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
