About Our Client A large outsourcing business going through a period of change, with sites throughout the UK.Job Description The ER Specialist will work closely with line managers and provide support and guidance on a broad range of ER issues. You will:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, up to and including dismissals and potential tribunals.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of UK employment law
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management where needed
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Signpost managers to outsourced HR advice line where appropriate
The Successful Applicant To be suitable for this ER Specialist role, you will need to be/have:
- Degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or CIPD level 5/7 preferred
- Proven experience in an ER Specialist role or a generalist HR background with a focus on complex and volume employee relations casework
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Pragmatic approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available immediately or on short notice and able to commit for a minimum of three months
