Network Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking four skilled Network Engineers to join our team, specializing in supporting critical banking operations within a Network Operations Center (NOC). The ideal candidates will bring technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced financial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching (eg, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network operations in a NOC environment.
• Banking or financial sector experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with incident management and resolution processes.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and technologies (eg, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Knowledge of Firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to ITIL practices and processes.
• Scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash, or similar).

Role & Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure within a high-availability banking environment.
• Respond to network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address escalations and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support 24/7 operations.
