Our client are a growing Electrical Engineering company who are thriving and gaining a lot of growth and have fantastic growth plans for the next 3-5 years.We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This can be a hybrid or remote role and requires someone on-site in Southampton, Enfield or Lowestoft at some point.
Management of project specific design deliverablesCarry out design in accordance with Client ProceduresCommunicate with the client, external design resources and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specificationSite surveys of existing assetsProduction of procurement specifications for electrical equipment and production of detailed design construction drawingsProject managing third party designs and providing design assistance to installation and commissioning teams.Review of vendors controls system Functional design Specifications for compliance.Review of vendor data and drawings for all electrical equipment and package plant, motor control centres, power distribution panels and field equipment panelsUndertaking and checking of design calculations including modelling of the complete power system (AMTECH)Preparation of drawings for CAD productionProduction of single line and block cable diagrams, load schedules, equipment specifications, cable schedules, equipment schedules, telemetry schedules, instrument schedules and I/O listingsRecord and document all design changes through to completion and issue of ‘As Built’ documentsLiaise with clients and subcontractors
An appropriate Electrical Qualification (BEng) or by experienceExperience of AutoCAD and Trimble Design Suite of software.Comes with a great salary and benefits package! Ideally you will be located near Southampton, Enfield or Lowestoft this role can be remote or hybrid….
