Our client, an established UK aerospace & defence firm, are seeking a number of Model-Based Systems Engineers to join their team. You’ll join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation, where you’ll contribute to the foundational stages of a future Submarine programme, influencing key decisions and shaping the next generation of underwater technology.
Some of the main duties of the Model-Based Systems Engineer will include:You will provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders on Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems EngineeringCoach and mentor in Systems Engineering practicesLead activities and supervise others as they tailor and develop Systems Engineering practices to suit the needs of a particular project / programme of workYou will work collaboratively across Engineering disciplines and other Functions
What experience you need to be the successful Model-Based Systems Engineer:You are an experienced Engineer with a breadth of systems engineering knowledge and an understanding of the full engineering lifecycleYou understand systems engineering approaches, processes and proceduresYou are degree qualified or have equivalent experience in a science technology, engineering, or mathematics related discipline
