Job Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to play a key role in supporting project delivery. This position is ideal for someone with a background in engineering industries, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about process improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and work breakdown structures.
  • Track project deliverables, task completion, and costs against estimates.
  • Support project controls and reporting with accurate data collection.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and participate in risk reviews.
  • Collaborate with production teams to solve problems and negotiate task priorities.
  • Provide cost-to-completion analysis and maintain consistent project reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.
  • Manage small or non-technical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to spec.
  • Coordinate closely with both engineering and manufacturing teams.

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in project planning, financial tracking, and risk management.
  • Collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
  • Resilience, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as IFS or equivalents.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, team-based environment.

Preferred:

  • Project support or PMO experience.
  • Experience in subcontractor management.
  • APM Level 5 qualification
