Our client is a fast-growing AI software company, delivering cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cloud technologies. With a strong presence across enterprise markets and an ambitious growth trajectory, they’re now looking to deepen their footprint in the UK & Ireland. As part of this expansion, they’re hiring a proven VP of Sales to lead, grow, and inspire their UK&I sales organisation.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a strategic, inspirational sales leader to take ownership of the UK & Ireland enterprise sales function. You’ll inherit a high-performing team of 3 Enterprise Account Executives, with headcount approved to grow the team by an additional 4. This is a leadership role focused on building a winning sales culture, developing talent, and consistently delivering revenue growth in line with ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the UK&I enterprise sales team – initially managing 3 AEs with responsibility for hiring and onboarding 4 more.
- Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example in all areas: strategic deal execution, pipeline hygiene, customer engagement, and internal collaboration.
- Embed a structured sales methodology (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or equivalent) to drive consistency and predictability.
- Deliver ongoing training, mentoring, and performance management to support team development and success.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure GTM alignment.
- Own forecasting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity to leadership and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of software sales experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS with exposure to AI, data, or cloud technologies.
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales leadership experience, successfully managing and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong focus on people development – coaching, mentoring, and inspiring sales talent is at the core of your leadership style.
- Hands-on experience implementing or scaling structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC preferred).
- Track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in fast-paced environments.
- Executive-level presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- London-based or commutable – hybrid role with regular in-office/team collaboration expected.
