Role Description:
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of new development opportunities across the UK and international markets.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle from feasibility and acquisition through to delivery and handover.
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, investment analysis, and underwriting to support strategic decision-making.
- Negotiate key commercial terms including heads of terms, development agreements, and partnership structures.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders including investors, consultants, architects, and local authorities.
- Ensure alignment between design, operations, and commercial teams to maintain project viability and brand standards.
- Monitor risk, budget, timelines, and quality across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events and contribute to long-term growth planning and market intelligence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5–7 years experience in real estate development, investment analysis, or feasibility, ideally within the luxury hospitality or high-end mixed-use sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, investment underwriting, and the preparation of detailed feasibility studies.
- Strong understanding of hotel management agreements (HMAs), lease structures, and real estate transaction frameworks.
- Proven ability to assess global market opportunities and provide strategic recommendations based on commercial viability.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and development partners.
- Familiarity with the full development lifecycle, from concept through to delivery, with an ability to align operations, design, and finance functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external parties.
- Degree-qualified in Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field; further professional qualifications (e.g. MRICS, CFA) are advantageous.
