Well-known users of OCaml and a large open-source presence means engineers here can see their code being utilised as part of these huge trades, as well as having a life beyond the company in the developer community – one of the main draws for the many engineers that have joined from both tech and other financial firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance systems which handle billions of dollars in transactions daily.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative software solutions.
- Utilize and contribute to open-source software in daily work.
- Engage in projects that range from machine learning to systems administration and beyond.
What They’re Looking For:
- Programming Skills: Top-notch programming abilities in any object-oriented (OO) language. While they primarily use OCaml, experience with functional programming is not required.
- Passion for Technology: A deep love for and understanding of technology, with an interest in diverse areas like programming language design, systems engineering, and more.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within small teams.
