Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Essex OR Northamptonshire

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with RF experience to join our growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in a close-knit group, working on exciting product development projects with both our UK and US facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing products using SolidWorks, including components, assemblies, engineering drawings, prototyping, and tooling
• Assigning part numbers and descriptions in line with company engineering standards
• Creating and maintaining part numbers and Bills of Materials within the E-Max ERP system
• Supporting costing and labour estimation for cable assemblies and components
• Providing technical support to both the sales and manufacturing teams

What you need?

• Experience in SolidWorks and Mechanical systems
• RF experience is desirable ideally RF connector experience
• A background of working on Small machine components
• Knowledge of environmental specs for applications
