Our client is seeking a Group Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This role, based in London, offers the opportunity to work within the EMEA and APAC Tax team. The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of accounting, current and deferred tax, and applicable generally accepted accounting principles. What you’ll do:
- Manage compliance and reporting obligations for EMEA, APAC, and some UK entities.
- Oversee the outsourced corporation tax returns submission process for EMEA, APAC, and UK.
- Liaise with HMRC, external auditors, advisors, CFO’s, and management teams both in the UK and overseas.
- Monitor Effective Tax Rates and report to the US Tax team.
- Manage shared services centre resource based in India.
- Assess tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance for a highly complex group.
What you bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in tax reporting.
- Ability to work around problems quickly.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified.
- Financial services (banking, other brokerages, private equity) experience is an advantage.
