A highly regarded Northwest-based consultancy, specialising in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their expert team. With a strong reputation built on referrals and long-term client relationships, this organisation prides itself on delivering tailored health and safety solutions to designers, developers, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, design safety, and excellence in client service.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure CDM 2015 compliance across a variety of projects.
– Conduct site inspections, audits, and statutory compliance monitoring.
– Develop Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP).
– Produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and COSHH assessments.
– Provide ongoing health and safety support to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
– NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety advantageous).
– IOSH Membership (TechIOSH/CertIOSH/GradIOSH, working towards CMIOSH preferred).
– Proven experience in construction-related health and safety consultancy.
– Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and project safety management.
– Full driving licence with flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
