Freelance Civil Site Manager – Wastewater Infrastructure

Our client, a distinguished entity in the water sector, is currently seeking a Civil Site Manager to oversee wastewater infrastructure projects on Yorkshire Water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources, ensuring adherence to project schedules and health and safety regulations.
• Oversee site logistics, quality control, and the management of environmental considerations.
• Coordinate and communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
• Ensure site documentation is accurate and up to date, including site diaries and reports.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager on wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines, pumping stations, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in wastewater systems.
• Ability to manage site safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Valid CSCS card (preferably Site Manager level) and SMSTS certification.
