Base pay range

£500 p/d / Outside IR35 / Fully remote / 12 month contract

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Product Manager to support an impressive luxury Retail client. There is an opportunity to join an established team on a large digital transformation and re-platform programme to support their continued growth and business ambition. Where they are migrating to and implementing Akeneo.

The future vision of the luxury retail client is a platform that will support fast and incremental changes to facilitate their ambitious growth targets.

YOU MUST HAVE RETAIL / ECOMMERCE / LUXURY RETAIL experience

The role and key activities:

  • Work with existing client product teams
  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Work with product marketing to develop positioning and messaging and ensure differentiation from competitors
  • Operate with sensitivity to the importance of technical details and related nuances, in combination with the ability to translate concepts understandable by Business Stakeholders Teams
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement
  • Support end-to-end delivery by maintaining a product roadmap, as well as a prioritized and estimated backlog

Required Experience:

  • Product Manager experience with a proven and demonstrable track record with at least 3-5 years’ experience, preferably within Software Engineering.
  • Strong experience in PIM integration projects, including data mapping, API integration and workflow automation. Ideally having prior experience with Akeneo
  • Experience in one or more large-scale digital re-platforming programme’s a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the retail sector, and how to maximise the value that products can and will add
  • Understanding of Agile delivery and modern engineering team practices
  • Experience with programming languages, frameworks and technologies relevant to the product domain
  • Knowledge of technical product development principles and methodologies
  • Ability to translate business goals, technology strategy and market knowledge into a product roadmap that prioritizes delivery of value and enables future business agility
  • Ability to switch between strategic visioning and getting into the detail, being the authority in all aspects of your product
