Programme Process Governance & Optimisation Lead (certified to Lean Six Sigma Black Belt level) required on an initial 6 month contract basis (outside IR35) by a leading Financial Services company, supporting a large-scale, multi-year, strategic Investment Management systems change programme.

This is a senior, business-critical assignment where you’ll drive process governance, assurance, and continuous improvement across a large, complex transformation programme with both business and technology change components.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring programme processes are designed, implemented, and embedded in line with existing standards and frameworks. The role will also involve coaching and guiding a matrixed team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects and SMEs, embedding a culture of process improvement and process maturity.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in programme-level process assurance, governance, and optimisation
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with process modelling techniques and tools (BPMN/ Visio/ Aris etc)
  • Experienced in coaching and functionally leading a matrixed team of change professionals (BAs, PMs, EAs)
  • Experience in supporting large-scale transformation programmes, with both business and technology change components
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior, challenging stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Strong background in Investment Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services

This is a senior, influential and pivotal role acting as a process advocate, influencing senior and challenging stakeholders to adopt a process-first mindset. You will identify optimisation opportunities across workstreams and drive end-to-end process improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, whilst ensuring process compliance and maturity are consistently maintained across the programme.

You will provide oversight and assurance on process compliance across all programme workstreams, coaching and guiding BAs, PMs, and EAs on process discipline, best practices, and continuous improvement culture.

This is an initial 6 month contract assignment, based flexibly from London, offering a rate of £750 – 850/ day (outside IR35) with strong potential for extension.
